      Judy Pendry (née Alexander) was a psychiatric nurse at Valleyview, Essondale Hospital and graduated from the School of Psychiatric Nursing in 1960. This file contains the Student Record for Pendry, copies of examinations and study notes, typewritten and handwritten notes, correspondence, graduation ephemera and program, high school annual from Britannia, Psychiatric Nurses Association of British Columbia membership cards and receipts.

      The file contains various newsletters, calendars, correspondence, obituaries, and ephemera Cunnings collected about the District of Coquitlam Parks and Recreation Department's activities.

      A significant portion of the file consists of photographs depicting canoeing, archery, track and field, figure skating, swimming; groups such as the Kinsmen club and the City of Coquitlam Retirees Association; City events such as the celebrations of the City of Coquitlam's city status, BC Summer Games, and Centennial Celebrations; as well as development, programs, and activities the Department undertook in all of their parks. These include photographs of Blue Mountain Park, Brookmere Park, Burke Mountain Park, Burquitlam Park, Como Lake Park, Dogwood Park, Eagle Ridge Park, Mackin Park, Mundy Park, Poirier Street Park, Rivervew Park, Rochester Park, Town Centre Park (stadium and track), and Victoria Park. Also included are photographs of municipal, sports, and cultural buildings, including the Centennial Activity Centre, Coquitlam Sports Centre, the parks office, Place Des Arts, the Public Works yard, Social Rec Centre, and the Tennis Centre.

      The file contains a scrapbook created by Caunt for his son detailing significant moments of his medical career, during 1943–1968. Photographs and newspaper clippings document the 1943 School of Psychiatric Nursing graduation; various events at Essondale Hospital including the installation of the Hospital's first television, the certification of Crease clinic by the American Psychiatric Association, occupational therapy displays, the installation of a new BC Tel telephone exchange, Christmas parties, retirements, events at Pennington Hall, and the opening of the Industrial Therapy Building. It also documents an event Caunt attended at the Chateau Frontenac in Quebec City held by the Canadian Psychiatric Association.

      A significant portion of the scrapbook documents the trips Caunt took in 1949-1950 to move geriatric patients to the new Homes for the Aged in Vernon (Dellview) and Terrace (Skeenaview). The scrapbook features photographs of settlements, including Terrace, McBride, Ocean Falls, Powell River, and geographic features including Lakelse Lake and hot springs, Gold Creek, the Inside Passage and Stanley Park.

      The file contains a scrapbook created by Caunt for his daughter detailing significant moments of his medical career and personal life during 1934–1968. Photographs and newspaper clippings document aspects of Caunt and his wife Lucy's life at the doctor's residences and hospital buildings at Essondale; trips to Stanley Park; a celebration of the 1934 School of Psychiatric Nursing class with doctors and staff held at Dr. Arthur Crease's summer house in Ocean Park, Surrey.

      It also depicts various events at Essondale Hospital including the installation of the Hospital's first television, the certification of Crease clinic by the American Psychiatric Association, occupational therapy displays, the installation of a new BC Tel telephone exchange, Christmas parties, retirements, events at Pennington Hall, and the opening of the Industrial Therapy Building.       This series consists of assorted materials collected for reference purposes by the Riverview Hospital Historical Society and originally acted as a reference library when the Society ran its museum. It contains publications, clipped articles, studies, DVDs, transcripts, and pamphlets. In addition to its reference collection, the series contains a subseries of the scholarly communications and theses arising from research undertaken at Riverview Hospital. Many publications are originals; however this series also consists of copies of articles.

It was originally a division in the museum library collection. This subseries shows aspects of life at Riverview Hospital from anecdotes of former employees, to land use surveys, and digitized videos of different hospital wings and buildings.

      Record types include reports, pamphlets, a videocassette, and DVDs containing digitized materials.

      This series consists of records related to the construction and operations on Colony Farm at Riverview Hospital. The materials relate to the original construction planning and dyking done to create Colony Farm, as well as some of the early auction and sale records of cattle and horses.

      William Headridge collected materials

      William Headridge (1887-1959) was an attendant at Essondale Hospital and became the chief steward in 1940. William was born in Alloa, Scotland and immigrated to Canada in 1913. He started at Essondale Hosptial that year. He married Ida May Healey (1896-1978) in 1915 and they lived in likely Cottage 118 on Essondale grounds. They had three children, May Jean (Billie) Headridge (1916-1962), John Morris (Jack) Headridge (1919-1989) and Gordon McKay Headridge (1920-2000). After William became chief steward, the family moved into Cottage 110.

      This file contains Headridge's diary, correspondence, and military, pension and financial records. Notably it includes photographs of the Headridge family and Essondale Hospital, and also contains a photo album labelled "Headridge album 194-?". These photographs depict Ida May's extended Healey family (originally from Manitoba), vacations to Revelstoke, B. C., the Headridges wearing their army uniforms in preparation of the Second World War, as well as many unknown friends and family to the Headridges. A series of photographs depict the children of Billie Headridge, namely Brian Bovet, and likely the unnamed daughter of Gordon Headridge.
