The series consists of records pertaining to various lumber companies and their subsidiaries that operated in the Coquitlam area and in British Columbia. The records include financial journals, timber records, workplace accident ledgers, sales records, accounts journals, financial statements, and the Crown Zellerbach company newsletter from 1957 to 1986.

The fonds consists of correspondence, financial ledgers, manuals, personnel files, photograph prints, and slides relating to the Canadian Western Lumber Company Limited., its predecessor, subsidiary, and successor companies (e.g. Crown Zellerbach and International Forest Products).

The series consists of the payroll ledgers of the Canadian Tugboat Company.

The collection consists of material accumulated by the Coquitlam Heritage Society over the course of its existence. The collection includes the following: records related to Fraser Mills (later the Canadian Western Lumber Company, then Crown Zellerbach) including ledger books, journals, statements, photographs, and various other records; records related to the lumber industry in Coquitlam; photographs of historic Coquitlam; glass plate negatives by W.J.
