The Enterprise Newspaper was a weekly newspaper that covered the Tri-Cities area between 1969 and 1981. It amalgamated with the Herald Newspaper in June 1981 and became the Herald-Enterprise Newspaper. The Herald-Enterprise Newspaper ceased publication on October 9, 1984 after W.E. Dunning Publishing went out of business.

The series consists of photographs taken by photographers working for the Enterprise Newspaper. Notations on the backs of the photographs indicate that they were used to plan the publication of the newspaper, and some have cropping written directly on the photograph. Most of the photographs depict residents and locations in Coquitlam as well as surrounding municipalities.
