The materials were originally part of the publications and reference materials collections at the Terry Fox Library in Port Coquitlam, BC. When the library relocated they conducted a weeding exercise. 19 boxes were transferred to the PoCo Heritage Museum and Archives and material that pertained to Coquitlam was transferred to the City of Coquitlam Archives.
