Sunday's Photos (also appears as Sunday Photo) is likely the business of Fred W. Sunday who was active in Vancouver between 1940 and 1948.
Geschiedenis beheer
The photographs originally belonged to Simon Bart Charpentier. The photographs were transferred to the Archives by his daughters, Madelaine Brochu and Nicole Chabot on behalf of the family.
Bereik en inhoud
The collection consists of three panoramic photographs. One photograph shows the congregation of Our Lady of Fatima (Notre Dame de Fatima) gathered around the travelling statue of Our Lady of the Cape (Notre Dame du Cap) in 1950. The second photograph shows the congregation of Our Lady of Fatima posed in front of the Church after its construction in 1959. This photograph is assumed to have been taken either in the year of construction or sometime in the early 1960s. The third photograph shows the congregation of Our Lady of Lourdes (Notre Dame de Lourdes) gathered in front of the church with the statue of Our Lady of the Cape (Notre Dame du Cap) on December 17th, 1950.

The photographs are showing signs of wear including: fading, tearing, and brittle paper. One of the photographs has been rolled and will need to be relaxed. One photograph shows signs of having been folded and as a result is tearing along the folds and has a whole in the bottom left corner.
