Administrative history
The Coquitlam River Watershed Roundtable (CRWRt) came about as the successful outcome of a multi-phase watershed strategy (2007-2011) aimed at improving collaboration and problem-solving amongst the many stakeholders in the watershed. The Coquitlam River Watershed Roundtable was launched in February 2011 at an inaugural meeting of watershed partners and the community.
Custodial history
The records were created by the Coquitlam River Watershed Roundtable and kept in a storage locker managed by Sherry Carroll along with the records of ArtsConnect. When ArtsConnect was in financial difficulties, the storage locker contract was cancelled and the Coquitlam River Watershed Roundtable records were moved to Sherry Carroll's house. A small number of records were given to Margaret Birch who was the City Liaison to the Coquitlam River Watershed Roundtable. The records were stored in Margaret Birch's office until the point of transfer to the City of Coquitlam Archives. The accession also includes a number of records created by the Coquitlam River Watershed Roundtable that were given to Margaret Birch and transferred to the City of Coquitlam Archives in 2016. These were not accessioned at the time and have been added to this accession.
