The collection consists of records relating to School District No. 43 and schools in Coquitlam. The records include formal class portraits, staff portraits, scrapbooks, newspaper clippings, school publications and newspapers, school annuals, and an assortment of crests.

The series consists of meeting minutes of the Board of School Trustees meetings held in the Canadian Western Lumber Company's Hall and other information relating to School District No. 43.

The fonds consists of several photographs including two class portraits from Our Lady of Fatima School (Grade 4 French from 1959-1960 and Grade 6 French from 1961-1962); a baseball team photograph of the SO Coquitlam Allstars from 1963; and a photograph of Fernand and Julienne Filiatrault with Father Gérard Leduc and Father Denomee Trenomme from Lady of Fatima Church.

The series consists of seven class portraits from 1960 to 1966 and two from the 1920s, as well as four additional photographs including a portrait of Joseph William Harris and his family ca. 1912 ; two photographs depicting two separate properties in Coquitlam; and a photograph of the Coquitlam float in the 1945 May Day Parade in New Westminster.

The series consists of records pertaining to the Burquitlam Lions Club's (BLC) administrative and membership activities. It contains material relating to the history and objectives of the BLC, including its constitution and policies, as well as the day-to-day operations of the club. Additionally, it contains membership records, a core aspect of BLC administration.

The series is divided into several subseries: membership records; agendas and minutes of meetings; constitution, policies and procedures; correspondence.

The series consists primarily of textual material. Record types represented in the series include the following: membership reports (MMRs, lists, and schedules), information about individual members, agendas, reports, and meeting minutes, motion books, constitutions, procedures, policies, agreements, ephemera, internal correspondence, and correspondence with other organizations.

The series consists of newsletters and bulletins created by the Burquitlam Lions Club, as well as newsletters and publications issued by Lions Club International and District 19 Governors from 1998 to 2011.

The subseries consists of formal class portraits and staff portraits; photographs of student activities; certificates documenting the awards, appreciation and commendation of the school and the success of its programs; and some photographic slides and textual records about the school's potential closure in 1987.

The fonds consists of records pertaining to the development and administration of the Como Lake Preschool from its inception in 1952 through to its dissolution in 2011. The fonds consists of committee meeting minutes, administrative records, newsletters, procedural handbooks, photographs, promotional materials, and a leather-bound history of the preschool. The series consists of the following: A copy of the submission to the Canada Royal Commission on Bilingualism and Biculturalism entitled "Maillardville French-Canadians"; several copies of the Maillardville Official Community Plan; a copy of the program for the Millside School's 80th Anniversary; a Parish Report from Notre Dame de Lourdes; a history of the Maillardville pioneers; Commercial design guidelines for Maillardville; and a copy of the "Bonjour Maillardville" newsletter from the Société Maillardville-Uni.
