This item consists of one red baseball hat with assorted badges and pins attached. The badges and pins represent different American states and were accumulated during the course of the Olympics of the Mind 1986 tournament in Flagstaff, Arizona. The team members wore these hats during the tournament.

The series consists of material given to Boire by Caisse Populaire Maillardville Credit Union, when its assets were sold to VanCity Credit Union.

The remainder of the collection consists of materials collected by Boire from Caisse Populaire Maillardville Credit Union, as well as accumulated material pertaining to Boire’s involvement in several community initiatives, such as the Maillardville Residents' Association, Maillardville revitalization and planning, and Place Maillardville.
