Sunday's Photos (also appears as Sunday Photo) is likely the business of Fred W. Sunday who was active in Vancouver between 1940 and 1948.

Custodial history

The photograph belonged to Steve Nicklen's mother, Lillian Marie Josephine Nicklen (née Dicaire) and was given to him when she passed away.

Scope and content

The item consists of a panoramic photograph of the school children and nuns of Our Lady of Lourdes school, taken on the grounds of the church.

Physical condition

The photograph was stored rolled, which had produced cracks in the gelatin image layer. The photograph was sent to a conservator who performed the following treatment: humidification, tear repair, lining, dry surface cleaning, and minimal in-painting. As a result of conservation treatment, the photograph can be accessed without risk of further damage.
