            CA CCOQ C4-S07-F25 · File · 2009
Part of Coquitlam Heritage Society collection

The ceremony was held at Place des Arts on October 5, 2009. Grosse Ile served as a quarantine station during the Irish migrations in the late 1840s and the stone represents the struggles faced by Irish immigrants in the 19th and 20th centuries. It was placed at the altar of Our Lady of Fatima Parish Church.
