The file consists of records related to Harry A.J. Monk who ran for the District No. 43 School Board in 1972. Monk served as a school trustee for twelve years until he was defeated in 1971. He was a civil servant who worked with the Department of National Revenue. He served for three years as President and ten years as Director of the Coquitlam Board of Trade and served as President of the Coquitlam Historical Society. He co-authored the publication "A History of Coquitlam and Fraser Mills, 1858-1958" with J. Stewart.
