The file consists of a series of videos documenting the "Transferring the Stone" ceremony that commemorated the transfer of stone from the AOH Celtic Cross at Grosse Ile, Quebec to Coquitlam, B.C. The ceremony was held at Place des Arts on October 5, 2009. Grosse Ile served as a quarantine station during the Irish migrations in the late 1840s and the stone represents the struggles faced by Irish immigrants in the 19th and 20th centuries. It was placed at the altar of Our Lady of Fatima Parish Church.

The sound recording features an interview with an unidentified teacher regarding his career in Coquitlam. The teacher discusses farming days in Coquitlam as well as the various schools where he worked, including: Millside, Mountain View School, and Glen School.
