The records were accumulated by Lillian Touzeau during her time at the Provincial Mental Hospital, Essondale. They were transferred to the care and custody of her daughter, Christine Ethel Manzer who then donated the records to the City of Coquitlam Archives.
Scope and content
The file includes a variety of records accumulated by Lillian Touzeau relating to her time as a nurse and in nurses training at the Provincial Mental Hospital, Essondale. The accession includes a graduation diploma (1944); a contract; a letter regarding an award in its original envelope; an graduation pin; two graduation photographs of Lillian F. Touzeau; a graduation program (1944); a staff portrait with the Essondale doctors; two portraits of nursing school graduates; and newspaper clippings.
