The series consists of transcripts for interviews conducted by members of the Pioneer Tales of Coquitlam Committee with Coquitlam residents for the book, "Coqutilam 100 Years: Reflections of the Past," published by the District of Coquitlam in 1991.

The series consists of videotaped oral history interviews with Coquitlam residents, filmed at Mackin House with a grant from the Government of Canada New Horizons for Seniors Program.
