The series consists of copies of the following newsletters that were put together by the District of Coquitlam to be distributed to Coquitlam residents: "District of Coquitlam Newsletter," "Coquitlam Newsletter," and "District of Coquitlam News," covering the period 1972 to 1992.

The series consists of records relating to the conduct of municipal elections, including Voter's Lists covering the period from 1973 to 1998 (note that 1994-1997 are missing) as well as Election Results from 1999 to 2014.

The series includes financial statements prepared by a number of different chartered accountants on behalf of the District of Coquitlam for the years 1971-1991. Starting in 1981, the reports were called Annual Reports but continued to reflect the same information. The reports include a municipal directory, the Municipal Treasurer's Report, the Auditor's Report, and financial statements.
