Originally known as the King Albert High school, Como Lake High School opened in 1951, serving students from Grad 7-11. It is located at 1121 King Albert Avenue, Coquitlam, British Columbia.
Custodial history
The records were donated by Gordon Wickerson in 2025, after he appeared on CBC News to discuss flying the new Canadian flag.
Scope and content
The file consists of 10 newsletters called "The Comet" from 1963 and 1965. The 1965 edition describes how Como Lake High School became the first school in British Columbia to fly the new Canadian flag.
