Fin Donnelly (1966-) is a Canadian politician who has served at the municipal, provincial and federal levels of government. He served as City Councillor for the City of Coquitlam from 2002-2009, as a Member of Parliament from 2009-2019, and as a Member of the Legislative Assembly from 2020 until 2024. As a Member of the Legislative Assembly, he was appointed to the position of Parliamentary Secretary of Fisheries and Aquaculture and then as Parliamentary Secretary for Watershed Restoration. In May of 2024, he announced that he would not seek re-election.
Fin Donnelly was born in New Westminster. He attended the University of Victoria where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy with a minor in environmental studies. As a youth, he was a competitive swimmer. He completed several marathon swims to aid local charities and raise awareness of environmental issues in the region, including the Transboundary Swim from Port Angeles to Victoria, the Spirit of the Salmon Swim from Richmond to False Creek, The Spirit of Lost Streams swim from Coquitlam to False Creek, and the Swim for Life from Mt. Robson to Granville Island. The sustainability and health of local waterways and marine life were a focus for Donnelly throughout his career.
In 1991 the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Nation gave him the name Iyim Yewyews which means strong swimmer or orca.
