The collection consists largely of research materials and notes created in the preparation of Boire's book "With Hearts and Minds" published in 2016. The remainder of the collection consists of materials collected by Boire from Caisse Populaire Maillardville Credit Union, as well as accumulated material pertaining to Boire’s involvement in several community initiatives, such as the Maillardville Residents' Association, Maillardville revitalization and planning, and Place Maillardville.

Materials include correspondence, photographs, administrative records, interviews, reports, handwritten notes, clippings, advertising and professional materials, newsletters, research materials, prints, postcards, ephemera, a map, embossing seals, a lid from a glass milk bottle, and other documents. The fonds consists of approx. 100,000 photographs (b&w and colour negatives) and contact sheets taken by photographer Paul VanPeenen between August 1991 and December 2001 for the Coquitlam NOW.

The fonds consists of bound copies of the Tri-Cities Now (Coquitlam Now) newspaper from 1984 to 2015 (note 1986 is missing); prints of photographs from 1991; copies of the newspaper on microfiche for various years; photographs and contents of the newspaper on CD-ROM from 2007 to 2015; a framed copy of the first edition; and various framed photographs and a poster.

The fonds consists of two colour positive slides depicting the former townsite at Fraser Mills in 1976. The photographs were taken on the south side of the railway tracks by George Bergson. The fonds also includes a number of photographic slides showing various interior and exterior shots of Fraser Mills buildings taken in 1986 as well as a photograph showing the mill taken in 1996 from New Westminster looking down the Fraser River.

The collection consists of records pertaining to the Coquitlam Satellites Women's Hockey Team from 1975 to 1982. The collection includes: two scrapbooks containing newsclippings, ribbons, and patches; programs for tournaments; programs and manuals from the BC Winter Games in 1981 and 1982; tournament medals; and commemorative pins.

The fonds consists of the personal and professional records of Tim Kernighan. The fonds includes photographs, certificates, job postings and job applications, invitations, maps, and other ephemera related to Coquitlam, BC.

The collection includes materials related to motor sports and the Westwood Racing Circuit (programs, posters, magazines), as well as municipal election pamphlets, and one audio cassette containing different versions of Coquitlam's Centennial Song, "Coquitlam, My Town."

The ArtsConnect Tri-Cities Arts Council fonds consists of the records created and received by the arts council and reflects its exhibitions and events, programs, workshops, awards and scholarships, fundraising, and advocacy for the arts in the Tri-Cities, predominantly from 1990 to 2008.

The fonds consists of a record types including minutes, reports, constitutions, correspondence, event planning files, production and exhibition files, newspaper clippings, newsletters, publications, plans, programmes, a scrapbook, promotional materials, and photographs depicting the many arts and cultural initiatives ArtsConnect organized and sponsored.

The fonds consists of the operational records of the Coquitlam Teacher Librarians' Association from 1964 to 2017. The records include the constitution, meeting minutes, grant and funding information, award information, statistics, contacts lists, and records relating to annual conferences.
