The series includes financial statements prepared by a number of different chartered accountants on behalf of the Corporation of the District of Coquitlam for the years 1912 to 1970. Earlier documents include boiler plate information about elected officials and department heads while later documents provide statistics and other information about the municipality as well as a selection of photographs in a few cases.

For the years 1994 to 2002, and 2008-2009 the series includes the Annual Report and a separate Statement of Financial Information. For the years 2010-2013 the series includes Consolidated Financial Statements.

The subseries consists of records created as part of the Coquitlam 125 anniversary celebrations that took place over the course of 2016. The subseries includes PDF copies of stories that were submitted to the coquitlam125.ca website, as well as photographs and videos taken by a group of artists (Artists Rendering Tales Collective Inc.) commissioned by the City of Coquitlam to document events throughout the year.

The fonds consists of records made or received in the course of conducting the operational business of the City of Coquitlam and its various departments.

The fonds consists of records relating to Russell Hellard's volunteering initiatives in Coquitlam, including his participation in the Crime Prevention Committee, the Community Policing Committee, the Mundy Park Sub Committee, the Crime Prevention Society, the BC Summer Games, the Centennial Committee, Block Watch, Vandal Watch, Court Watch, among others. The fonds also includes personal and family records, including a collection of photographs from his service in Canada and Australia during the Second World War.

The fonds consists of Columbian Newspaper clippings, B&W photographs, press releases, and other assorted records arranged by subject and by person. The files were created by Columbian staff members for reference purposes.

The fonds consists of b&w negatives and contact sheets of photographs taken by the Herald Newspaper in the early 1980s.

The fonds consists of research materials created and accumulated by Edmund and Garry May Colchester in the 1970s. The material was created and accumulated in the preparation of a final report entitled "Contrasting Philosophies in Workers' Housing in Two Mill Villages: Fraser Mills Townsite and Maillardville - A Brief History”. The fonds also contains several versions of the final reports, as well as other academic writing.

Materials include photographs of houses in Maillardville and Fraser Mills, aerial photographs of Fraser Mills, maps (hand-drawn and copies), promotional materials for Crown Zellerbach, as well as other materials accumulated during the research process.

The fonds consists of the operational records of the Burquitlam Community Association, including minutes, agendas, correspondence, and documents related to programs, projects, and committees. The fonds also includes photographs of the Burquitlam neighbourhood and a Burquitlam Community Association meeting from 2004.

The fonds consists of one panoramic photograph and one postcard. The panorama depicts the students and teachers from Our Lady of Lourdes school posed in front of the school buildings and Our Lady of Lourdes Church. The postcard from 1908 is addressed to Miss Sadie Lougheed, Coquitlam BC.
