The fonds consists of records created and accumulated by Don Cunnings, documenting his involvement in sport and recreation in Coquitlam. The archivist arranged the fonds into two series. One series documents the activities of Cunnings during his tenure at the District of Coquitlam Parks and Recreation Department. The second series consists of personal and professional records accumulated by Cunnings, documenting his various professional positions for reference and posterity.
The records include photographs, newspaper clippings, newsletters, correspondence, recorded documentaries, two scrapbooks, and assorted textual records and ephemera.

The fonds consists of photographs (b&w and colour negatives) taken by staff and contract photographers of the Tri-City News, and the Sunday News. The fonds also includes 133 bound volumes of copies of the Tri-City News from 1990 to 2018, as well as 6 microfilm reels containing copies of the Tri-City News, the Maple Ridge News, and the Sunday News from 1985 to 1986. Finally, the fonds includes several loose special editions in print form.

The fonds consists of the operational records of the Burquitlam Community Association, including minutes, agendas, correspondence, and documents related to programs, projects, and committees. The fonds also includes photographs of the Burquitlam neighbourhood and a Burquitlam Community Association meeting from 2004.

The fonds consists of the administrative and operational records created and received by the Burquitlam Lions Club from 1969 to 2016. The materials are related to the club’s initiatives serving both the local community as well as international programs through Lions International.
The fonds reflects this in the following three series: Administrative and membership records; Newsletters and bulletins, and Events and programs.
The Administration and membership records series consists of records pertaining to the Burquitlam Lions Club's administrative and membership activities. It is divided into four subseries: Membership records, Constitution, policy and procedures; Agendas and minutes; and Correspondence.
The Newsletters and bulletins series consists of newsletters and bulletins created by the Burquitlam Lions Club, and ones received by Lions Club International and District 19 Governors.
The Events and programs series contains records related to specific programs supported by the Burquitlam Lions Club as well as events held in their community.

Riverview Hospital Historical Society collection
The Riverview Hospital Historical Society collection consists of the records collected and maintained by the Riverview Hospital Historical Society (RHHS). Through their museum and library, the RHHS acquired and stewarded records documenting the history of Riverview Hospital, the British Columbia School of Psychiatric Nursing, and the history of psychiatric care in British Columbia.
The collection consists of a range of documentary forms, including: reports, theses, newspaper clippings, newsletters, publications, correspondence, manuals, plans and drawings, directories, inventories, procedures, programmes, annuals, invitations, motion pictures, personal narratives, staff lists, minutes, study notes, scrapbooks, ephemera, and photographs depicting aspects of social and administrative life at the hospital and school.
The collection is arranged into ten series that reflect original collections maintained by the RHHS, and are organized by media type or content. See the Arrangement note below for more information.

The collection includes two City of Coquitlam Gender Equity reports from 1999 and 2000; a paper regarding Gender Equity policy from 2001 written by Fiona A.E. McQuarrie entitled "What Makes an Equity Program Successful?: Lessons from an Example in Sport" which was presented at the 2001 Administrative Sciences Association of Canada at the University of Western Ontario; and the text for a presentation entitled "The City of Coquitlam Gender Equity Program" given by Fiona A.E. McQuarrie to the National Conference on Women, Sport, and Physical Activity in Hamilton Ontario in 2000.

Edmund and Garry May Colchester fonds
The fonds consists of research materials created and accumulated by Edmund and Garry May Colchester in the 1970s. The material was created and accumulated in the preparation of a final report entitled "Contrasting Philosophies in Workers' Housing in Two Mill Villages: Fraser Mills Townsite and Maillardville - A Brief History”. The fonds also contains several versions of the final reports, as well as other academic writing.
Materials include photographs of houses in Maillardville and Fraser Mills, aerial photographs of Fraser Mills, maps (hand-drawn and copies), promotional materials for Crown Zellerbach, as well as other materials accumulated during the research process.

Walter Bruce MacDonald collection
The collection consists of records gathered by Walter Bruce MacDonald as research materials and content for a biography of Roderick Charles (R.C.) MacDonald. Records include collected photographs of R.C. MacDonald and his family as well as newspaper clippings, photographs, pamphlets, programs, scrapbooks, reports, speeches, certificates, drawings, correspondence, and copies of the book and digital manuscripts for Walter Bruce MacDonald's biography of R.C. MacDonald entitled, "Catch-as-catch-can."

The fonds consists of black and white photographs, some black and white negatives, and the occasional colour photograph taken by photographers working for the Enterprise Newspaper. Notations on the backs of the photographs indicate that they were used to plan the publication of the newspaper, and some have cropping written directly on the photograph. Most of the photographs depict residents of Coquitlam.

The fonds consists of two colour positive slides depicting the former townsite at Fraser Mills in 1976. The photographs were taken on the south side of the railway tracks by George Bergson. The fonds also includes a number of photographic slides showing various interior and exterior shots of Fraser Mills buildings taken in 1986 as well as a photograph showing the mill taken in 1996 from New Westminster looking down the Fraser River.

The Hoy-Scott Watershed Society fonds consists of the records created and received by the Hoy-Scott Watershed Society and reflects its hatchery operations, salmonid enhancement and environmental stewardship programs, events, and environmental advocacy initiatives in the larger Coquitlam Watershed.
The fonds consists of administrative records, reports, correspondence, event planning files, newspaper clippings, newsletters, publications, plans, a scrapbook, promotional materials, and photographs documenting the activities of the Hoy-Scott Watershed Society and the operations of the Hoy Creek Hatchery in Coquitlam.

Tri-Branch Co-operative collection
The collection consists of photographs taken in the 1990s of the Tri Branch Co-Operative at 2860 Packard Avenue. The photographs depict the exterior of the building, residents in the common areas, and holiday celebrations.
The collection consists of records accumulated by Shyla Seller during her time as a student at Parkland Elementary School, Como Lake Junior Secondary School, and Centennial High School. Records also relate to Shyla’s participation the Olympics of the Mind, a competitive academic event in which participants engage in challenges that test their creative problem solving skills. The collection also includes material related to and created by other members of the Seller family, as well as material related the Hol’n’ One Donut House chain, which was owned by Shyla’s grandparents Bill and Nina Seller.

Miss Coquitlam Pageant collection
The collection consists of colour photographs and negatives of the Miss Coquitlam Pageant and related events from 1986 to 1988. The photographs feature the donor, Deborah Smyth, who was Miss Congeniality in 1986. The collection also includes some news clippings and a VHS tape containing a recording of the 1986 Miss Coquitlam Pageant.

The collection consists of records created by the Sports Car Club of BC and collected by Ken Haywood. The records include copies of the Year Books & Rosters from 1966 to 1969; two editions of the "Pit Pass" newsletter from 1968 and 1969; several Westwood Park passes for guests, drivers, and paddock; a "Pit Pass" bulletin regarding the funeral of Bob McLean; a pocket calendar of 1966 race dates for Westwood and assorted U.S tracks; a guest employee card from 1964 for Ken Haywood; a copy of Karting World magazine from 1965; a receipt for membership dues from the Sports Car Club of BC; and a business card for the Vice President of the Canadian Automobile Sport Clubs.
