The series consists of formal class photographs, records identifying the children in the class photographs, correspondence, a complete list of students from 1929 to 1972, a guest book with signatures from the Homecoming in 1979, a scrapbook with news clippings, photographs, letters and pamphlets relating to the Homecoming in 1979, newsletters, news clippings, and a series of notes likely prepared by the Port Moody Heritage Society about the history of Mountain View School.

The subseries consists of photographs collected by Walter Bruce MacDonald for his biography of R.C. MacDonald. The records are a combination of family photographs and photographs from various sources that were used in the book. More information about the majority of the photographs can be found in the book, "Catch-as-catch-can."

The series consists of promotional fliers, correspondence, newspaper clippings, and other assorted materials made by other organizations that ArtsConnect promoted or interacted with regularly. The files were created by ArtsConnect board members for reference purposes.

The series consists of administrative records including minutes relating to the Coquitlam Heritage Society as well as minutes, reports, and correspondence relating to the development and renovations of Mackin House and Heritage Square. The series also includes plans for the restoration of Mackin House from 1993.

Exhibitions, events, and media coverage

The series consists of records produced and accumulated by ArtsConnect in the course of planning, organizing, and mounting arts and culture exhibitions and events. ArtsConnect organized many exhibitions covering a wide range of media: painting, sculpture, photography, performing arts, decorative arts, and video art. Annual exhibitions featured in the series include Works in 3D, Faces of the World Arts and Culture Festival, Vernissage, and Innovations. The series also includes the media coverage of events and exhibitions.

The resulting records are largely textual in form and include correspondence with artists and exhibitors, press releases, art and artist lists, exhibition proposals, application forms, internal memos and scheduling documents, installation records, artist CVs, contracts, didactics, artists' statements, promotional materials, invitations, condition reports, loan agreement forms, and newspaper clippings. Some audio and visual material, including photographs, installation plans, cassette tapes, and magnetic tapes, are also present.

The series consists of miscellaneous records created and accrued by the Caisse Populaire including correspondence, pamphlets, draft advertisements, colouring-in pages, press releases, souvenir programs for the 75th anniversary of Maillardville and a 1988 Caisse Populaire Maillardville Credit Union Annual Report.

Maillardville records

The series consists of the following: A copy of the submission to the Canada Royal Commission on Bilingualism and Biculturalism entitled "Maillardville French-Canadians"; several copies of the Maillardville Official Community Plan; a copy of the program for the Millside School's 80th Anniversary; a Parish Report from Notre Dame de Lourdes; a history of the Maillardville pioneers; Commercial design guidelines for Maillardville; and a copy of the "Bonjour Maillardville" newsletter from the Société Maillardville-Uni.

Records of Lumber Companies and Mills

The series consists of records pertaining to various lumber companies and their subsidiaries that operated in the Coquitlam area and in British Columbia. The records include financial journals, timber records, workplace accident ledgers, sales records, accounts journals, financial statements, and the Crown Zellerbach company newsletter from 1957 to 1986.

1986 Heritage Inventory files

The series includes working files related to properties in the Maillardville area that were assessed for heritage value by external contractors in 1986. The files include photographs taken by the assessors, a copy of the typed assessment of each property, and related documents added by Planning and Development staff over the years. Related documents include copies of land titles maps, permit applications, copies of reports to Council, correspondence, copies of Bylaws, engineering reports, copies of assessment cards, copies of news clippings, and colour photographs.

Photograph Collection

The series consists of photographs from various photographers donated to the Coquitlam Heritage Society by various donors. The photographs feature the following: early life in Maillardville; workers, housing, and machinery at Fraser Mills; renovations of Mackin House; events at Mackin House; houses in Maillardville; and various locations around British Columbia (taken by photographers W.J. Moore and Richard Broadbridge).

The series consists of operational records from the Four Acres Trailer Court including a business card, financial records, signs and occupancy records.

The series consists of records relating to the amalgamation of the Corporation of the District of Fraser Mills and the Corporation of the District of Coquitlam. It includes draft agreements, correspondence, and newspaper clippings.

The series consists of reports, plans, publications, books and other reference material from the library of the Community Planning division of the Planning and Development Department. The Community Planning Library was collected and arranged by the division.
